This coastal property overlooks the Kingsbridge Estuary in South Devon, and is set within an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Our brief was to work sensitively within this sloping coastal landscape, and maximise views out over it. We also reduced the environmental impact of this building through the integration of passive design techniques, and carbon minimising technologies.

All dining and living spaces are at upper floor level, and open out onto a series of external terraces and balcony areas. A naturally robust palette of external materials was selected to weather this coastal location, as well as running through into the interior of this outward-looking property.
