A multi-level showroom, located off the M8 Glasgow, started out as a traditional dealership, which during construction transformed to embrace the brand-new corporate identity released by BMW and MINI, it is one of the first in the country to be completed. This new retail concept focuses on consultation at the car, less cars more space, moving away from the tradition of car display one area consultation separate. As Arnold Clark are forward thinking they were keen to embrace this new look even though construction had started, the result has fully integrated the look and feel BMW and MINI wanted to achieve. BMW are represented at both ground and first floor level, with MINI sitting comfortably with BMW on the first floor. In addition, a customer service drive through has been created allow service customers to hand over their vehicle in the dry, whatever the weather, this is nestled between the showroom and the workshop. A great example of successfully dealing with CI change during construction.
Arnold Clark Motorstore Solihull
Motorstore is a well-established brand of Arnold Clark, we were commissioned to rebrand this arm of Arnold Clark with café 1964 being the focal point within the showroom. The idea being to create a welcoming and relaxed environment, where customers can have a coffee and croissant whist being able to view the products available.
The relaxed modern environment has been created with the use of warm colours, timber fixtures, stylish seating with the coffee bar as a backdrop. Due to its flexibility the concept can be rolled out across the network for both new builds and refurbishments.
‘Terminal’ is Audi’s trademark design concept. This project, commissioned by Ocean Automotive’s owner driver, David Kelly, is the UK’s largest Terminal site. What’s unique about the development is the completely fresh and innovative approach to the whole customer experience. So ‘yes’, we designed a prestigious yet practical facilities showroom, workshop and drive-through service reception.
But we also added unique innovations including a gym, business lounge, social lounge with full barista facilities – even a beauticians! It’s a whole retail environment alongside the automotive business, created over a 12 month build with a contract value of £9m.
Refurbishment works continue in Worcester for Listers, the design includes for the current Volvo corporate identity to create a new modern facility
Works have now been completed and open for business, the project included an extension and full refurbishment of the showroom areas to implement BMW`s new Retail Next concept.
